Yay! Amigurumi Two is available for preorder right here :)
I hope you'll like it as much as Amigurumi World :)
It came out really nice, the people at Martingale are the best at making the cutest craft books, you should check all the nice variety they have!

It's coming out at the end of June 2009.In the midtime I can share pictures of all the toys that are included (the pictuers aren't that great because I took them before sending them to the publisher). You can see them here :)
Thank you again, and again and again, for being so nice. Hug!

En junio sale Amigurumi 2, y ya se puede pedir en amazon.com :)
Espero que les guste tanto (o mas!) que Amigurumi World. Hice un set en Flickr con fotos de los juguetes incluidos, y lo pueden ver aca :)
Besote!
Very exciting! I bought your first bookk recently and just started working on my first project today (Mommy and Baby Penguin). I am a beginner and I must say that mine doesn't quite look like yours (having some problems maintaining tension, I suppose). I've got pretty sizable holes and I'm wondering how I'm going to be able to stuff it. Got any tips for me? Anyway, I'll keep practicing. Thanks for the lovely patterns. Congratulations on the book.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for your second book! I love the first one so much!!
ReplyDeleteSecond book looks terrific, well done! I love the bluebirds on the vines!!
ReplyDeleteJules - use a much smaller hook, works like a charm!

ReplyDeleteThank you so so much, I know it sounds cheesy but it does mean a lot to me. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteJules, just like Caroline said (thank you), use an F hook and you'll be all right (I tend to crochet pretty tight). Let me know how it works out! :)

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your new book, however I need help with the tea set. It's coming out HUGE and I can't find the pattern for the cup handle. Thank you very much
ReplyDeleteI just recieved your second book in the mail today and am ecstatic! I can't wait to get started. My kids are already taking orders after looking through it. We have your first book as well and love it! Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI have both books but I am having a hard time with the prickly coat on the hedgehog. It looks curly in the picture but mine is not curling at all since the directions say to ch 3 and skip 2 sc and then sc I don't see how it could curl at all. Anyone have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your books last week, and ordered Amigurumi Two. I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival. :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to make the baby with the cloth diaper for my kids! (I have two babies, and cloth diaper -they will love it) And, I'm going to make the tea set for my daughter's first birthday. :)
Most books I've looked at, there were a couple of patterns I would like to make. But when I first saw this book, I wanted to make every pattern in it! Can't wait to get started! Thanks so much for sharing your great talent.
Love your books and I have made many of them for my niece and son. I have a question on the red airplane. In the pattern instructions for the tail it only gives dirrections for 2 rounds, but in the picture it looks a bit bigger. I tried to count and cant tell if it is 7 or 8 rounds. Thanks for your help and keep the books coming. My son loves to look through them and tell me what to make next for him!
