It's always sad to find corrections, but here they go...
I'm really really sorry if they made you stop making your project and feel like you couldn't understand the directions or just hated me! ;)

These things happen. Don't be so hard on yourself! Next time, you need *me* as a pattern tester! :0) I'm working on Mama Turtle and her Babies right now, taking a little break before I finish attaching Mama's legs. My kids love her already.
ReplyDeleteNo worries! Thanks for posting the corrections! :)
ReplyDeleteI believe that there is a mistake in the "My first dolls" pattern, the boy's hat was very confusing to me when I made it. It seems like something out of the middle of the pattern is missing. I eventually just kind of made up my own pattern, but it would be helpful if that was noted as well.
ReplyDeleteI love your books and have made many of your patterns and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have thoroughly enjoyed making my little amigurumi collection. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing your wonderful patterns!!
Don't worry too much about your mistakes. We're all human

ReplyDeleteI'd like to know if your books contain the charts to the amiguri. I simply can't read instruction patterns, only charts (diagrams).
Thanks!
Hallo,Ana!
ReplyDeleteYour creations are wonderful.. especially those cute animals!!I wish I'd be as good as you with my crochet!
A kiss from Italy!!
Thank you for posting the corrections. I like your book very much. :) You're just human, everybody makes mistakes. :)
ReplyDeleteI noticed for the cookies (p71), with the tea set in book two, that the 3rd round states to repeat the stitches 5 times and rounds 4 & 5 state 6 times while still keeping the stitch count for a 5x repeat.

Mistakes can bring new friends! :)
ReplyDeleteNo worries, mistakes happen. I am just glad your blog was so easy to find and that the corrections were also easy to find. I look forward to finishing my little squirrel.
ReplyDeleteGreat book by the way. I am really enjoying it.
I have a question about the algae on the fish stroller toy. How did you get it to curl so beautifully in the picture? If I crochet it as written, I end up with a straight line. I've been experimenting with decreasing every couple stitches and also starting with less chains and crocheting two in every other chain space. I think the second method looks the best, but I was wondering what you did.
ReplyDelete@Erica
ReplyDeleteHi Erica, I didn't do anything different than what it says in the pattern, but I'm thinking it's probably the way the yarn falls. I used Patons 100% Merino Wool :)
I hope it works out using that!
Hug!

Hi just a some quick questions about your branch mobile can you explain the branch part in a little more detail I am totally stuck on it. And also how do you hide your excess yarn in the smaller pieces like the petals and the leaves? I have both of your books and am looking forward to the new one in April. Keep up the great work and keep those books coming.
ReplyDeleteAre there any corrections for Amigurumi World, I'm thinking the cupcake might have some errors on the instructions.
