Little Mouse crochet pattern
The pattern for the bigger mouse is in Amigurumi Toy Box.
**This is the pattern for the little mouse :)
You'll need:
F/5 (3.75 mm) & E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hooks.
Worsted weight yarn in grey and pink.
6mm plastic eyes with safety backings.
Pink & black embroidery floss and embroidery needle.
Tapestry needle.
Fiberfill or stuffing of your choice.
-When I made him he was approx. 2 inches/5 cm tall.

Body
We start crocheting the little mouse at the nose.
Using grey and the F hook:
R1: Ch 2, 5 sc in second ch from hook.
R2: 2 sc in each sc around. (10 sts)
R3: Sc 10.
R4: *Sc 1, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 5 times. (15 sts)
R5: Sc 15.
R6-10: Sc 15.
R11: *Sc 1, dec 1*, rep 5 times. (10 sts)
Stuff
R12: Dec 5 times. (5 sts)
Bind off and weave in end.
Ears -make 2 :)
Using grey and the F hook:
R1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook.
Bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to body, weave in loose ends.
Arms & Legs -make 4 :)
Using pink and the E hook:
R1: Ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook.
R2-3: Sc 4.
Bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to body.
Tail
Using pink and the E hook loosely ch 16, sl st 15 starting at second ch from hook. Bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to body and weave in loose ends. Pronto! :)

ReplyDeleteOMG! That is so cute! I got the book "Amigurumi Toy Box" from the library but I haven't started crocheting yet because I do not yet have all the materials needed. Does anyone know where to buy polyester fiberfill? I can't find it in any stores near me. I live in Ontario, Canada.
