I did not start drinking coffee until I became a mother. Now I can't go without it!
ReplyDeletevery cute :)
ReplyDeletetoo cute! I have a sisterhood award for you here: http://bawcraftworx.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-1st-award-yay.html
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pattern. I've make a cute chocolate cup for myself.
ReplyDeleteI haven't really crocheted in years, but your patterns are so adorable, they make me want to run to Michael's *right now* and get some yarn!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these little treasures, so I can get my feet wet again!
Ana,
ReplyDeleteHi, I am 13 and just bought your book a few days ago. My grandmpother has been helping me with the turtle and I finally finished it! I LOVE Michaels! I go there almost every week to get yarn. I am going to make crocheted food for my little cousins. I just wanted to say thatnks for the easy patterns so a 13 year old can do them!
I'm so glad you posted this pattern online =D I just sat down to whip up one of these little guys for a barrista friend of mine and when I got to Row 7 (sc28) the directions didn't state how many rows to complete to make the cup the correct height! Sure I could have just guessed but I wanted the handle to be proportionate and so yes, let's just say (again) that I'm glad you posted this pattern online. Thanks much!
ReplyDeletehelp, what am I doing wrong?? Every time I try to make a ball, like for a head or for the octopus, I end up with a wide bottom, so it looks like a hat with a brim! Any ideas????
ReplyDeletejust wanted to tell u that i saw your little coffee cup on a craft show and couldn't resist making it.It was fun and easy.i use it to decorate my computer. thanks
ReplyDeletevery cute, but in amigurumi world; tiny ami row three what in the world do you mean by "sc 1, SC 2 IN NEXT SC"????? capitals are the places that i dont get!!
ReplyDeletePretty nice place you've got here. Thanks for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to them. I definitely want to read a bit more soon.
ReplyDeleteI was actually trying to find a coffee cup pattern because I saw this on Shana Logic, which is now sold out.

Why pay 14$ when I can make it myself! Awesome! Definitely going to buy the book too!
hi
ReplyDeleteThey're all so cute. I like this coffee cup better than the ones I've see before. Thanks for sharing the pattern. You do great work.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried ami and looking for easy patterns to start. This looks like a good first project - thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a pattern like this! I can't wait to try it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI used your pattern to create my own little cup too! Here's my blog post about it:

Thanks for the pattern :)
*Phew!* I've borrowed a first edition of Amigurumi world (And amigurumi two:D) off a friend until mine arrives (five more days!!), and I was freaking out coz it didn't say R7-15, just R7, so thank you SO MUCH!! for posting this! After I've finished mine, I'm making another for my cousin :D
ReplyDelete(P.S; I LOVED making the turtle, and more babies keep popping up every few days- I found that using a size larger hook to make the cracked egg and adding a second half, cutting out a row from that one, and then the baby turtles can live in them :D! Thanks SO MUCH for their awesomeness!!!
in R7 do i use only the back loop again or not anymore? and is the bottom part of the cup the wrong side of the amigurumi?
ReplyDeletein R7 am i supposed to do the back loops only? and i dont get the (slip st to first st on last round.) ????????
ReplyDeleteHello, I just got your book and have been crocheting non stop! (:; The cup I'm making looks a little different.. I was wondering if you were suppose to turn it inside out? When I turn mine inside out it looks like yours.. Thank you.
ReplyDeletecan i start with a 7sc magic circle?
