  5. Ana,

Hi, I am 13 and just bought your book a few days ago. My grandmpother has been helping me with the turtle and I finally finished it! I LOVE Michaels! I go there almost every week to get yarn. I am going to make crocheted food for my little cousins. I just wanted to say thatnks for the easy patterns so a 13 year old can do them!

  6. I'm so glad you posted this pattern online =D I just sat down to whip up one of these little guys for a barrista friend of mine and when I got to Row 7 (sc28) the directions didn't state how many rows to complete to make the cup the correct height! Sure I could have just guessed but I wanted the handle to be proportionate and so yes, let's just say (again) that I'm glad you posted this pattern online. Thanks much!

  7. help, what am I doing wrong?? Every time I try to make a ball, like for a head or for the octopus, I end up with a wide bottom, so it looks like a hat with a brim! Any ideas????

  16. *Phew!* I've borrowed a first edition of Amigurumi world (And amigurumi two:D) off a friend until mine arrives (five more days!!), and I was freaking out coz it didn't say R7-15, just R7, so thank you SO MUCH!! for posting this! After I've finished mine, I'm making another for my cousin :D
(P.S; I LOVED making the turtle, and more babies keep popping up every few days- I found that using a size larger hook to make the cracked egg and adding a second half, cutting out a row from that one, and then the baby turtles can live in them :D! Thanks SO MUCH for their awesomeness!!!
